NORTENT Bivuakk is a 3 in 1 solution. A lightweight tarp that can be used in various configurations. As a tarp, shelter or a tent, weighing less than 1 kilo and taking up minimal space in the backpack. The fabric is also equipped with a stove-jack that can be used in all configurations.

Bivuakk is a Norwegian word that originally comes from military units to describe a simple, temporary camp outdoors where it will provide shelter from the elements. A bivuakk is basically meant to provide shelter and protection for one soldier or a small group of soldiers who are left alone out in the woods or mountains. This is also our inspiration for this lightweight, simple and versatile design that will provide shelter and protection against the elements

Solutions

The advantage of a tent is that it keeps the weather out and gives good protection against the elements. But at the same time you are missing out on beautiful surroundings and may find it convenient to set the Biuvakk up as a tarp or shelter to enjoy the scenery.. By setting up the Bivuakk as a shelter, you get the natur into the "living room" at the same time as you can enjoy the wonderful heat from the stove. You have to experience this to understand what opportunities this provides for the out-door experience.

If you want to open up further and bring in nature 360 degrees, you can consequently set up the Bivuakk as a tarp. When the weather gets bad and the wind increases, you may bunker yourself inside by setting up the Bivuakk as a 3-person tent. When using the stove in tent-mode, it will almost instantly get warm and cozy inside the tent, regardless of the temperature outside.

NORTENT Buvakk also comes with the option of an inner tent. Essential if you are in an area with a lot of insects. The inner tent consists of a "bathtub" floor with mosquito netting on the side walls and ceiling. Here you can stay safely inside the inner tent from insects and other debris and enjoy the view from the outside. The inner tent can also be used together with our stove.

You may add dedicated carbon poles to replace your walking sticks. The carbon poles are extremely light weight and very strong. Only 280 g each. The pole is adjustable to easily fit the lenght of the tent even with uneven ground, etc.
