On an established, actively growing plant, multiple leaves at different stages of the transition coexist simultaneously, creating a layered display of orange, copper, and green that photographs beautifully and draws instant attention in a collection. Unlike its closely related counterpart the Prince of Orange — which is self-heading and compact — the Orange Princess has a vining, climbing growth habit and produces larger, heart-shaped leaves with a notably glossy finish.
