Built to echo the high-energy sounds that defined a generation, this pedal is more than just a boost - it's a full-spectrum tone sculptor, finely tuned after conversations, research, and studio visits with Chad Gilbert himself.
Inspired by the classic tones that drive albums like Sticks and Stones (2002), this boost/preamp hybrid is equipped with a flexible EQ section that tightens up high-gain amps, adds sparkling clarity, and gives you full control over your presence and chug. The Mid Boost switch actively adds high-mids to your sound that many amps may be lacking, reminiscent of a studio-grade EQ that makes your presence in the mix undeniable.
My Boost Over You was designed to slam the front of a high-gain amp, the same way Chad has been setting up his live and studio rigs since the early days. But don't fret, this pedal sounds equally amazing in front of an amp modeler or digital rig, even into a clean channel! Whether you're tightening the low end, adding bite to your solos, or just looking to push your rig into pop-punk paradise, My Boost Over You is the Swiss Army knife your board has been missing.
Controls:
Level: The output level or overall volume. Crank this to add more gain when boosting your amp.
Lows: Boost or cut low end from your signal. When in front of a high gain amp, start at noon and turn this DOWN until you achieve your desired "chug." Seems counterintuitive to reduce low end, but trust us! Or, if your particular application requires it, turn it up for more low end.
Highs: Boost or cut treble from your signal.
Mid Boost: Toggle down for flat frequency response, toggle up for an active boost in the high-mids. You may need to adjust the Level or Highs controls when flipping between these two settings.
