Ctenanthe burle-marxii 'Amagris,' commonly known as the Prayer Plant, is a striking, low-growing plant with broad, oval leaves that display an intricate pattern of light silvery-green with dark green veins. The leaves have a unique habit of folding up at night, resembling hands in prayer, which adds to its charm. This plant is a favorite for its decorative foliage and ease of care.

Light: Prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate lower light conditions. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.

Water: Keep the soil consistently moist, but not waterlogged, during the growing season. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Reduce watering in winter but do not let the soil completely dry out.

Humidity: Thrives in high humidity environments. If indoor humidity is low, consider using a humidifier or placing the plant on a pebble tray with water.

Temperature: Best suited to temperatures between 18-26°C. Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below 15°C.
