General Information and Cultivation³: A slow growing, moisture-loving aroid with an upright habit, branching/clumping as the plant matures. Terrarium grown specimens can reach 200mm in height, with a maximum leaf blade size of 115mm×35mm. Philodendron ‘Pincushion’ prefers humid terrarium conditions with a small amount of ventilation. Tankquility cultures this clone at about 23° Celsius, in a granular substrate based on akadama and scoria, or in a coir-peat based mix. Fertilize moderately.

Propagation by tip and stem cutting is easy.

Note: Several miniature-sized Philodendron are sold under the trade name “Pincushion” in the U.S. Consulting with a number of aroid specialists, Tankquility believes the name “Pincushion” applies to this clone.
