Darkglass Alpha-Omega Photon Bass Distortion/Compression PedalA new era for musical credos has set more elevated standards.
Versatility, empowerment, limitless options, and ever-demanding tools at the disposal of every musician and composer are today on demand. A call for inventive devices continues to make musicians more inspired, clever and connected.
Darkglass took their Alpha-Omega, and with relentless efforts added all the learned engineering to it. Placing the iconic distortion circuit into a new paradigm enables a range of possibilities that were never before available.
A comprehensive design allows programming each part of the pedal, from compression, distortion, and cabinet simulation in the signal chain to presets via MIDI and the Darkglass Suite.
The Alpha·Omega now has its ultimate interface. Fully programmable, empowered, and never before this versatile.
Features:
• Compression: The Compression potentiometer is the one-knob solution for compression on the Alpha-Omega Photon. This controls the amount of input gain to the compressor and intelligently applies the correct amount of makeup gain so that your signal is always driven at the appropriate level, no matter how much compression is applied.
• Drive: The Drive potentiometer adds distortion and drive to your signal. Crank this knob to apply the Alpha-Omega distortion to the distorted part of the signal chain.
• Mod: The MOD potentiometer selects or mixes between the Alpha and Omega circuits. Alpha is punchy, tight with a lot of definition, whereas Omega is simply brutal and raw.
• Blend: The Blend potentiometer mixes between the distortion signal and the clean sidechain signal.
• Level: The Level potentiometer controls the master volume of the Alpha•Omega Photon.
• Touch Sensitive Sliders: Each slider has a -12 dB to 12 dB range. From left to right, the frequency bands for each slider correspond to a low shelf, 250 Hz, 500 Hz, 1.5 kHz, 3 kHz, and a high shelf.
• Input: This is the primary instrument input on the Alpha-Omega Photon. Connect your instrument or output from your pedal board to the 1/4” mono jack.
• Aux In: The stereo input of the Alpha-Omega Photon enables the playback of backing tracks while practicing or recording. Connect your mobile phone, laptop etc. to the 1/8” stereo jack.
• Headphone Output: Headphone Output meter next to the jack.
• Balanced Outputs: The two balanced outputs add routing versatility and the option of using the Alpha•Omega Photon as a fully equipped audio interface. Connect your studio monitors, amplifier or other effects to the 1/4” balanced jacks using a TRS connector (Tip +, Ring -, Sleeve GND). If you feed an unbalanced input from these outputs, use an instrument cable with a mono 1/4” plug.
• Direct Output: An XLR output with a ground lift switch provides a reliable standard connection to a mixing desk or an external audio interface for a guaranteed low-noise signal.
• MIDI In: A standard 1/8” TRS (Type B) jack allows connecting an external MIDI controller to the Alpha•Omega Photon for even more flexibility.
• USB
• The USB-C port unlocks the Alpha•Omega Photon’s USB audio interface capabilities and enables interaction with the Darkglass Suite desktop app, allowing for software updates and access to the Darkglass IR library, containing hundreds of cabinet simulations. USB MIDI is also supported.
• DIMENSIONS: 7” x 4.7” x 2.3” (180x120x60 mm) Weight: 1.54lba (0.7 kg)
• WARNING: The Alpha-Omega Photon has a current draw of 500mA. Only use a regulated 9V DC adapter with a center-negative plug. Due to ecological reasons, it does not accept batteries. Unregulated power supplies and/or higher voltages may result in suboptimal noise performance and even damage

PACKAGE STUNK UP BLDG HALLWAY
I went downstairs to pick up the package from our building management office. I could smell it already. The rug was rolled up in clear plastic with one end exposed/open. From what I could touch, the rug felt soft and the color was good. But I was embarrassed to have received this and then bring it into the elevator with me. The smell was horrendous, like sewage or fecal matter.
BACKSTORY: I had ordered 2 different sheepskin rugs from 2 different brands. My first time buying sheepskin. The other has a very faint animal/hide smell that is detected only when right up against it. This Safavieh rug, however, was for a different location in the house. Even without the first rug for comparison, the smell of this one is unbearable. I've bought many wool and polypropylene rugs from Safavieh. So I did not expect a negative experience.

Great product: thick and cozy
Size: Single Pelt/2 ft x 3 ft, Color: Natural (Ivory Whiite)
This is a lovely, thick sheepskin. I’m using it to drape over a chair. It’s very soft. The color is a natural white. Arrived quickly. The price was great for such a wonderful sheepskin.

Love it!
Size: 2' x 6' (Double Pelt), Color: Linen, Size: 2' x 6' (Double Pelt), Color: Linen
Exceeded all expectations. Bigger than I imagined it would be, super soft and thick, beautiful color (Linen), and no funky smell at all. It seems very durable. After running my hands all over it, no shedding occurred. I have yet to sit on it myself, though, as my cat claimed it right away - didn't even wait for me to remove the tag! He's been there for hours and I'm thinking I've lost my snuggle buddy, so I bought two more in the smaller size so he can have his own on the bed with me at night. I am so amazed by the quality, feel, and color. I can't believe I almost let other reviews deter me from this purchase. 100% thrilled with this beautiful pelt. Absolutely recommend!
UPDATE:
I received the other 2 purchased. Just as soft, just as thick, consistent color (Linen), no shedding, no smell. They have been in use for several days now without any issues. Love them all - and my snuggle buddy is back! 🥰

It’s wonderful!!
Size: 2' x 3' (Single Pelt), Color: Brown, Size: 2' x 3' (Single Pelt), Color: Brown
The product is wonderful! You know it is real, coz the smell doesn’t go away. I use it to meditate and cannot how nicely it created the perfect comforting barrier to help elevate my experience. I however want to find alternatives coz I stopped using animal products after turning a vegetarian. The size (it is bigger in person than in the pic) and color(brown) are perfect for what I do and doesn’t need much/any maintenance!
The white however needs a lot of attention and care.I’m sure it would last a decade and the weight is just right too!

Beautiful lux sheepskin, you won't be disappointed!
Size: Single Pelt/2 ft x 3 ft, Color: Grey
I just got this today, 2 day delivery. It's a beautiful silver grey 2'x3', no smell, no shedding, super soft and has a luxurious feel. I can't believe it's real and so affordable! I have it draped on an ottoman in front of the couch. I love it and already want to buy a few more for my mid century modern couch and chairs. So chic! Highly recommend!
