The DD Hammocks SuperLight Tarp S is a lightweight and compact tarp, perfect for a wide range of outdoor activities, and it takes up almost no space or weight in your backpack.

A tarp like the DD Hammocks SuperLight Tarp S is an extremely versatile piece of equipment and can be used for various purposes during outdoor activities. The 19 reinforced attachment points allow you to set up the tarp in different ways to suit your specific needs. Here are some of the most common ways to use a tarp:

• Shelter: A tarp can be set up as a standalone shelter using its attachment points. It provides protection from rain and sun and can be used as a gathering spot for a group.
• Tipi tent: The tarp can be converted into a tipi-like tent, providing shelter and protection from wind and weather.
• Bivouac: The tarp can be used as a bivouac, creating a safe place to sleep under the open sky.
• Rain cover: Use the tarp as an improvised rain cover over your backpack, gear, or camping area to keep things dry.
• Groundsheet: Place the tarp under your sleeping bag as a waterproof and durable groundsheet for extra protection against moisture.
• Shade: Create shade on sunny days by setting up the tarp as a cover over your living area.
• Camouflage: Use the tarp as camouflage to avoid curious eyes or stay hidden.

The tarp's versatility makes it an indispensable tool for outdoor enthusiasts, hikers, campers, and anyone seeking effective weather protection when out in nature.

Due to the compact size of the DD Hammocks SuperLight Tarp S, we do not recommend using this tarp as a hammock cover. For hammocks, choose the DD Superlight Tarp in regular size, e.g., SuperLight Tarp XL from DD Hammocks.
